Taken at the most recent quarterly MGL lunch at Brann's restaurant. There were a total of 31 former MGL people there, with honors going to Peter Cook who will be 95 on May 8. Some had to leave before the group shot was taken, but Ted was able to get the photo you see above.

On Friday, August 4, 2006 Kirk Emlinger invited Peter Cook to fly with him up north for lunch and for a flight over the W. Michigan coastline.



Jo Burnham visited Michigan recently, and met with several alumni at The Kirby House in Grand Haven for dinner on June 8th for a little reunion. Andi Dekker, Sue Worsley, Jean Kelleher, George and Julie Horton, Winnie Wulbrecht, Gail Kober, Judy Kidder and Judi Rabbai all shared the fun evening rehashing MGL memories, and shared many laughs.  

 


On March 1, 2006, Mary Kay Walsh, Chuck Fallos, Bob Hahn, Jim Dergance and Jim Schneider 
had their own little "La Cantina" type gathering on the other side of the lake.

Peter's latest award.  On October 25, The Grand Rapids Symphony honored Peter C. Cook at the BRAVO Awards Gala. The theme of the event was "A Seussical Musical Hullabaloosisical" -- thus explaining Peter's Dr. Seuss-themed apparel.

Peter's latest gig!  The night of June 16, Peter and Ryan rode with the Chief on patrol -- an opportunity Peter purchased at a charity auction. Ryan is a special deputy, traffic squad, for Kent County Sheriff's Dept.

"Still flying high at 90." 
Peter flew from the old MGL office parking lot up and over the NE and NW side of GR before heading back to land at the airport.  He loved it and loved all "the buttons" and observing the pilot. It looks like he's flying this craft but he isn't. So, no need to panic!
